Recruiting campaign for VW Retail Group
THE TASK
The film project addressed the pressing issue of skilled labor shortages at VGRB by developing a targeted recruitment campaign. Guided by the vision of director Paul Weiss and creative strategist Jan Knarr, the concept focused on appealing directly to potential candidates in key demographics.
The campaign aimed to highlight the benefits of working at VGRB, showcasing not only the professional opportunities available but also the supportive and dynamic work environment.
This approach allowed us to create a series of films that effectively communicated the unique aspects of VGRB’s culture and values, resonating with skilled workers seeking meaningful employment. Ultimately, the project aimed to attract and inspire a new generation of talent to join the VGRB team.
THE PROCESS
The casting process for "Lars," a comedy filled with humor and wit, was intricate but ultimately rewarding. We embarked on a thorough search for actors who could authentically embody the characters while bringing a comedic flair that resonated with the film's narrative and themes. This involved multiple auditions and workshops to evaluate talent and chemistry, ensuring each actor could deliver the humor and charm that define the story.
Collaboration with the client was essential throughout this process. We coordinated closely with them, conducting auditions directly at their location, which not only streamlined logistics but also allowed us to immerse the actors in the environment they would be portraying. This hands-on approach facilitated a better understanding of the setting and its dynamics, enhancing the actors' performances.
The close partnership with the client ensured that their vision was reflected in the casting choices, resulting in a cohesive ensemble that brought the story of "Lars" to life with authenticity and flair. The collaborative spirit of this process contributed significantly to the overall success of the project.
THE RESULTS
In addition to the six main films, we created numerous adaptations tailored for different platforms and audiences. These adaptations included shorter edits for social media, promotional clips for marketing campaigns, and specialized versions highlighting specific customer sectors. Each adaptation maintained the core message of the original films while ensuring optimal engagement across various channels. The result was a cohesive and versatile content library that not only broadened the brand's reach but also allowed for targeted messaging that resonated with diverse viewer demographics.
